In August 2021, I started my teaching career in a lead teaching position as a first grade teacher at Central Jersey College Prep Charter School. During my two years as a lead teacher, I have learned and accomplished so much. I have collaborated with team members in planning instructional goals, objectives, and methods. I have developed and maintain a classroom environment conducive effective learning. I have prepared unit plans and weekly lesson plans, and showed evidence of preparation at school online systems. I have assisted students in setting and maintaining standards of classroom behavior. I have also facilitated home school communication by such means as holding conferences, sending email, and written communications.
