Pre-K Block was my first experience in the PDS program where I was placed in a Preschool setting one day a week. During my time there I implemented a two-week curriculum unit on Winter. I created hands-on lessons and activities for each day I was there including, morning meeting, math, science, song and fingerplay, physical education, and art. My partner and I created a hot chocolate themed dramatic play are, where we included materials and props for the students to engage with. This experience allowed me to assist children with their social skills, fine motor and gross skills, and their social-emotional learning to help them grow.
